Our Services
Three ways to bring order to your household papers
A single session, a structured course or a full archive programme — all administrative, all non-regulated, all priced transparently in Malaysian Ringgit.
Back to homeHow Kinfold approaches every engagement
Every Kinfold service starts with the same first step: a scope statement. Before any document is touched, the coordinator sets out in writing what the engagement will cover and what it will not — so both sides understand where administrative work ends and where a qualified professional's input would be needed.
From there, the method depends on the service chosen. A sorting session works through everything in a single sitting. The course builds knowledge across four sessions so that more than one family member understands the system. The archive programme handles a full collection — room by room, device by device — and produces a set of documents that functions as a complete household records guide.
All three services share the same principles: no advice on regulated matters, no retained copies of documents, and a written deliverable at the end of every session.

Service 01 · Single session
Family Papers Sorting Session
RM 490 · 2 hours · one household
A two-hour session in which a coordinator helps a household gather, sort and label the everyday documents a family accumulates — identification copies, civil records, school and employment papers, tenancy and utility records, insurance policies, and family correspondence. The work is administrative: grouping, labelling, noting duplicates, listing gaps, and writing an inventory you keep. We do not read documents for meaning, comment on regulated matters, prepare anything for filing, or act for anyone. Where a question falls outside general information, we note it and suggest speaking with a qualified professional.
What's included
- Written inventory of all documents sorted
- Folder plan for physical and digital storage
- Gap list of documents that appear to be missing
- Plain-language glossary of terms found in your papers
Session steps
Gather everything into one place
The coordinator helps bring all documents to the working surface — no pre-sorting needed from you.
Sort into categories
Documents are grouped by type: identification, civil records, property, employment, education, financial, correspondence.
Label and list
Each group is labelled. An inventory is written as we go. Gaps and duplicates are noted separately.
Review and hand over
The session closes with a walkthrough of the inventory and gap list. All documents are yours; no copies are kept.
Service 02 · 4-session course
Household Documentation Course
RM 1,580 · 4 × 90 min · up to 4 family members · 5 weeks
A four-session course for families who want their paperwork to be understandable by more than one person. Session one maps everything the household holds. Session two builds a naming convention and a filing structure that a teenager or a grandparent could both follow. Session three covers scanning, backup on your own devices, and keeping a digital set readable over years. Session four writes a one-page orientation note — where things are, who knows what, who to contact — and reviews publicly published material describing common Malaysian family document processes as general background reading only. Taught as education and administration; it does not include advice on regulated matters.
What's included
- Course workbook
- Template pack for labels, folders and naming conventions
- One-page orientation note produced in session four
- 30-day email question window after course ends

Mapping what the household holds
Full inventory of all documents, sorted into categories. Gap list produced.
Building a naming and filing system
A naming convention chosen by the household, folder structure created and tested with real documents.
Scanning, backup and digital readability
Coordination of scanning process onto your devices. Backup method and format choices for long-term readability.
Writing the orientation note and review
One-page summary of where everything is, who to contact and what is still referred to a professional.
Service 03 · 3-month programme
Family Archive and Handover Programme
RM 4,300 · up to 12 sessions · 12 weeks · one household
A three-month programme for households where papers have spread across rooms, devices and generations and no single person can say what exists. The coordinator inventories every container and folder, separates active records from archive, scans and indexes the digital set onto the family's own storage, rebuilds a labelled physical set, and writes a full orientation document that someone entirely new to the household could read and follow. Two family walkthrough sessions make sure the knowledge is shared rather than held by one person, and a written open-questions register lists every point that should be taken to a qualified professional. Purely non-regulated administrative work: sorting, scanning, indexing, labelling and writing.
What's included
- Full inventory of all documents across the household
- Indexed digital archive on your own devices
- Labelled and organised physical set
- Full orientation document for new readers
- Open-questions register for professional referrals
- Annual review calendar
- Two family walkthrough sessions

Standards applied across all services
Document confidentiality
Contents of documents are not discussed outside the household. No copies are retained after session completion.
Consistent naming approach
Every folder plan and digital index follows a naming convention chosen with the household — not a generic system imposed on them.
Files on your infrastructure only
No third-party cloud platforms are used to process or hold client documents during any Kinfold engagement.
Written deliverable every session
No session closes without a written document handed to the household — inventory update, gap note or orientation addition.
Referral before speculation
Regulated questions are noted in writing and directed to a qualified professional — not answered speculatively within the session.
Fixed pricing, no surprises
Each service has a listed price in Malaysian Ringgit. No additional charges are applied after the engagement begins.
